Brand and design are some of the most important parts of growing your business, and when you choose to invest in them early on, it lays the foundation for growth and alignment for years to come. That’s exactly what happened in my branding and web design for Vine & Fig, a mobile wine and charcuterie cart serving Detroit and surrounding areas. I got to come in at ground level and partner with the founder to build something from scratch, and the result was a brand and design that speaks to the effortlessly elevated client.

Brand and Design for Vine & Fig
The design that went into Vine & Fig was so special to me, because when they came to me, the business was still just an inspired concept, no logo, no website, no visuals. It was a rare opportunity to build their brand identity from the ground up with intention and precision.
The founder is a sommelier and customizes the wine menu for every event, based on vibes, so that each occasion has a unique pairing experience that reflects the guest’s vision, the event’s mood, and the season’s best flavors. How cool is that? She wanted a brand that felt elevated, but approachable, that captured the sophistication of a luxury experience while keeping it warm and inviting. Think wine nights, girl dinners (but classy), and intimate, dimly-lit house parties.
My approach was making every piece of the brand fit that energy – from the color palette to the logomarks. And the result was a brand that feels exactly like those things. Effortless, and where classy meets fun! I incorporated elements that the brand actually uses in real life – like a wine-inspired color palette – to blend aesthetics with functionality.
One of my personal favorite parts of the brand and design is the ampersand with the olive branch. It’s becoming the calling card of the brand, and what people are recognizing.

How Vine & Fig’s Branding Has Helped Them Grow
The brand and design isn’t just pretty – it’s working for them. Vine & Fig is now reaching aligned clients, they have a standout logo that people actually recognize, and they’re serving events for their dream customers.
That’s the impact of a good brand and design. It’s all about making something that feels true to you and, let’s face it, looks good, without compromising strategy.
